The company bases administrative
operations out of an office in True Blue. This office houses clerical
support, accounting department, purchasing and inventory management,
design department, equipment and tool distribution and tracking and
general management staff. With computer work stations for all employees
in the office networked, Quinn Company Limited utilizes the latest software
for word processing, accounting, messaging, scheduling and project management,
as well as computer aided drafting and design. One of the company's
goals is to stay on the cutting edge of information technology and staff
have designed and developed database software for managing our payroll
and employee records as well as a tool management and maintenance programme.
Employees have access to the World Wide Web for assistance in software
upgrades, the latest in design data, and for sourcing materials. Aiding
these strong design capabilities are the latest in AutoCAD architectural
software enabling the company to work with overseas clients and consultants
on their level.
The Quinn Company millwork shop, which is located in a separate 6000 square foot facility, provides the space to construct cabinetry and other millwork offsite, ready to install, requiring less time at the project site. The shop is equipped with precision shop equipment capable of fabricating all the company's millwork to exacting standards. The field offices house
project supervisors, inspectors and site clerks and serve as control
and distribution points for materials and equipment usage. A one-acre
Storage and Yard Facility near the millshop provides additional space
for off site storage of inventory and equipment. The company has a large
inventory of construction equipment and power tools in addition to those
used in the shop. The company owns a small fleet of trucks to ensure
timely delivery of materials, equipment and personnel to the job site.
